APCW reports on the cracks in the UIGEA, with talks between Antigua and US congressmen, banks and regulatory watchdog groups pointing to to the impossibility of enforcement of the UIGEA, credit card transactions to online gambling websites continuing to be easy to process, and Harrahs’ setting up an online gambling operation overseas - yes, Harrahs’ the same company that paid Frist to pass the UIGEA.
Things that make you go “Hmmmmm”…
All I know is that if the UIGEA gets lifted, the games are going to be juicier than ever. They’re already heading back that way, if recent results can be trusted.
